Chamber Chiefs: Detroit’s Brand, Health Matter to all of Michigan

Detroit matters. Communities must work together. And voters electing business-friendly leaders has helped improve the economy in Michigan. Those were three messages Rich Studley, president and CEO of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, and Sandy Baruah, president and CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber, hammered home to roughly 80 people attending the inaugural First Tuesday Power Lunch at Oak Pointe Country Club in Genoa Township. The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event, and DTE Energy was the major sponsor.
