Gary Whited is president of General Dynamics Land Systems and vice president of General Dynamics Corp. He previously served as senior vice president and general manager for General Dynamics Land Systems’ domestic operations, where he was responsible for strategy, operational performance, customer engagement, execution and growth of the company’s domestic business. In that role, he oversaw the company’s Ground Combat Systems, Combat Support and Sustainment, and U.S. Marine Corps/Navy sectors.rnrnPrior to that, Whited served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer for General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a leading manufacturer of munitions and missile components for the U.S. Department of Defense and its allies. Whited has more than 30 years of experience in the global aerospace and defense industry and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wayne State University.
