Jeff Aronoff

Jeff Aronoff is the executive director of D:hive, a physical welcome center and connection to resources in Detroit.  Since its launch in 2012, D:hive has taken over 12,000 people on experiential tours of the city, helped guide over 200 burgeoning community entrepreneurs through the process of developing a business plan, curated and shared over 2,000 job opportunities with its job seeker network, and facilitated peer-to-peer exchange of residential living arrangements with nearly 1,000 housing seekers.

Prior to his work at D:hive, Aronoff was a principal at the law firm of Miller Canfield, where he practiced public finance and economic development law.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in social science from Michigan State University and master’s degree in public policy from the University of Michigan, in addition to a law degree from Wayne State University law school.
