NeighborHUB Grant Program accepting applications for five grants up to $30,000

DETROIT, July 9, 2018 – The NeighborHUB community grant program opened its application period for registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations located in Detroit, Hamtramck, or Highland Park to apply for five grants up to $30,000 and additional business support. The application period will be open until August 13, with awardees notified this fall.

GM, Detroit chamber launch $150,000 neighborhood nonprofit grant program

DETROIT, July 9, 2018 – GM is granting $150,000 to help the Chamber fund the pilot NeighborhoodHub Community Grant program which would provide $30,000 grants to a community group in each of five Detroit neighborhoods. Proposals will need to include programming focused on needs in that community and improving an accessible physical space — whether a vacant storefront, a coffee shop where people gather, space in a local library or in a community church basement — to house the programming.

Detroit Regional Chamber, General Motors To Launch NeighborHUB Grant Program

DETROIT, May 31, 2018 – Today, General Motors (GM) and the Detroit Regional Chamber announced a new neighborhood grant program designed to boost activity in Detroit’s neighborhoods at the Mackinac Policy Conference.     The North American International Auto Show on Tuesday said the 2022 show will take place Sept. 14-25 in downtown Detroit.

    Rod Alberts, executive director of the Detroit Auto Dealers Association and the NAIAS, confirmed the dates during the 2022 North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year awards presentation. Media/tech days will take place Sept. 14-15, the Charity Preview is scheduled for Sept. 16 and public days will run Sept. 17-25.
