Bill Schuette is attorney general for the state of Michigan. During his tenure, Schuette formed the Michigan Commission on Human Trafficking and engineered the plan to fund the testing of thousands of long-abandoned DNA evidence kits from sexual assault victims.rnrnSchuette previously served as a U.S. congressman, director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture, State Senator, and judge of the Michigan Court of Appeals.rnrnSchuette earned a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University and received a doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
