Automobility Day at the Capitol

Every year, MichAuto’s government affairs team and executives from various MichAuto investor companies join legislators and members of the Governor’s Executive Team in Lansing to discuss the priorities of the automotive and mobility industry and announce the Michigan Auto Caucus Legislator of the Year. The mission is to ensure the industry maintains effective communication and strong relationships with Michigan’s political leadership.

In May 2024, MichAuto investors were invited to participate in exclusive meetings with legislators to discuss priorities important to business and Michigan’s signature industry at the 2024 Automobility Day at the Capitol. The MichAuto Legislator of the Year Award was presented to Rep. Curt VanderWall (R-Ludington).

In April 2023, MichAuto investors were invited to participate in exclusive meetings with legislators to discuss priorities important to business and Michigan’s signature industry at the 2023 Automobility Day at the Capitol. Attendees also enjoyed lunch in the Capitol’s new Heritage Hall where the MichAuto Legislator of the Year Award was presented to Sen. Mallory McMorrow (D-Royal Oak).
