Let’s Detroit

In September 2018, the Detroit Regional Chamber launched Let’s Detroit to increase the retention of college graduates leaving the state by 1% each year and engage those who wish to return or move to the Detroit Region.

With a focus on the Region’s signature industry, Let’s Detroit also offers employers an opportunity to directly engage recent graduates and young professionals as part of their talent recruitment and retention efforts. In addition, Let’s Detroit serves as a resource for young talent looking to relocate to the Detroit area, offering information on job opportunities, communities to live in, and ways to get involved in the region.

MichAuto partners with Square One Education Network to increase the youth robotics program’s reach, deepen its impact, and continue to fulfill its mission to develop the next-generation technical workforce by engaging students through authentic hands-on, project-based learning.

Discover Auto Tours

As part of its talent attraction efforts, MichAuto has partnered with Square One Education Network and Project Lead the Way to identify and engage high school students within the Detroit Region and the state. Through in-person and virtual career exploration of automotive and mobility companies and presentations by industry experts, Discover Auto tours will educate students on the industry, its technology, and promote diverse career options.
