Maurice G. Morton

Maurice Morton currently serves as the Managing Partner of The Morton Law Group, which specializes in the Cannabis Industry. He is the sole owner of Total Essence LLC and operates a Cultivation and Processing site in Detroit. He is also a partner in Green Cure Wellness which operates a provisioning center in Detroit.

Morton established and led several monumental initiatives and programs such as the Community Prosecution Program serving as chief of the Wayne County Juvenile Division, hosting and co-producing John’s TV, and supervising the auto theft and major drug units along with the drug house and abandoned properties units.

Morton earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. He received his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University’s Law school and received his master’s in public administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
