Ted Serbinski is the managing director of Techstars Mobility, the first U.S. startup accelerator program focused on next-generation mobility technologies. Previously, he was a partner and founding team member of Detroit Venture Partners, a $55 million seed-stage fund that has invested in 25 companies. Serbinski also serves as chairman of the Techweek Detroit Executive Advisory Board, board member for the Michigan Venture Capital Association, and board member for TechTown. He’s also the executive producer of the documentary, “Restarting the Motor City.”rnrnFor his work in catalyzing the Detroit startup scene, Serbinski has been recognized as a “Champion of the New Economy” by Junior Achievement. He is also one of Crain’s Detroit Business’s “40 Under 40” recipients. Prior to moving to Detroit, Serbinski was co-founder and chief technology officer of ParentsClick, the fourth largest social network and the largest blog network for moms.
