Virinder Moudgil is the seventh president and CEO of Lawrence Technological University, appointed in July 2012.rnrnPreviously, Moudgil had been the senior vice president and provost at Oakland University, where he led academic affairs from 2001 to 2012 and oversaw the College of Arts and Sciences, the Honors College, and eight charter schools. He was a professor of biological sciences and chaired Oakland’s Department of Biological Sciences from 1994 to 2001.rnrnMoudgil has three degrees, including a Ph.D. in zoology-biochemistry from Banaras Hindu University, the top-ranked university in India. He was a research fellow in India for two years and came to the United States in 1973 to take a post-doctoral fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.
