On Nov. 3, 2025, MichAuto provided the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative with public comments on behalf of Michigan’s automotive investor community relating to the operation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) as the joint review process begins in earnest next year.
The USMCA serves as a trilateral bedrock to ensure a level of industry resilience across North America, maintaining the supply chains, jobs, and business opportunities they generate. The USMCA joint review process offers a valuable opportunity to strengthen and extend this vital trade pact.
