MichAuto’s Glenn Stevens Jr. to Receive CADIA’s Power of One Award

November 1, 2023

CADIA today announced that Glenn Stevens Jr., Executive Director of MichAuto and Vice President of Automotive and Mobility Initiatives at the Detroit Regional Chamber, is the recipient of the 2023 CADIA Power of One Award. Recipients of the Power of One Award are selected by CADIA staff in recognition of particularly outstanding leadership in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the automotive and transportation industry.

“Glenn is a natural choice for the Power of One Award,” said Cheryl Thompson, CADIA Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “He has long been a powerful advocate for the advancement of DEI in our industry, encouraging companies and leaders to become more inclusive. Additionally, Glenn has been an essential part of CADIA’s foundation. We are extremely grateful for his ongoing support and are thrilled to be able to honor him.”

For the past 14 years, Stevens’ career has been focused on serving membership-based organizations, communities, and economic development across Michigan. As Executive Director of MichAuto, Stevens provides strategic direction and leadership to MichAuto in its role as the statewide industry association to promote, grow, and retain Michigan’s automotive and next-generation mobility industries. He also serves as Vice President of Automotive and Mobility Initiatives at the Detroit Regional Chamber. He was a member of CADIA’s first Advisory Board and is a Co-founder of the CADIA Chief Executive Officer Coalition for Change.

Stevens will receive the Power of One Award during the 2023 Impact Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at The Westin Southfield Detroit in Southfield, Michigan. Winners and runners-up in four other Impact Awards categories will also be recognized at this event.
