Dan Senor

Dan Senor is a geopolitical expert and adjunct senior fellow for Middle East studies at the Council on Foreign Relations and best-selling author of “Start-Up Nation: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle.” A longtime expert in policymaking, politics and business in the Middle East, Senor previously served as senior adviser and chief spokesperson for the U.S.-led military coalition in Iraq in 2003 and 2004. For his service, he was awarded the Department of Defense Distinguished Civilian Service Award, one of the U.S. government’s highest civilian honors. Senor also served as a foreign policy and communications adviser in the U.S. Senate. He has written numerous articles in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Washington Post, The Weekly Standard and TIME.
