Marlowe Stoudamire
Marlowe Stoudamire is owner of the consulting boutique, Butterfly Effect Detroit, and founder of Mash Detroit, a neighborhood incubator that helps people from all walks of life discover common ground through collaborations that re-imagine shared physical spaces and drive systemic change.
Stoudamire has more than 15 years’ experience with local, national and multinational companies in areas of business development, community engagement, project management and marketing. Prior to launching his business, he served as chief of staff at the Skillman Foundation in Detroit, acting as an adviser to the president and key members of the executive leadership team. He also served as project director in strategic business development at Henry Ford Health System.
Stoudamire embraces an ethos of connecting people and harnessing the power of social collision. His ability to bring diverse groups together across cultural and ideological lines has garnered trust and respect from leaders and peers across the region. He was named one of Crain’s Detroit Buisness’ “40 Under 40” in 2012.
