Matthew Simoncini is president and CEO of Lear Corp. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction and operational leadership of the company. Simoncini previously served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Lear and was responsible for global finance operations, including external financial reporting, corporate business planning and analysis, corporate strategy and business development, as well as information technology activities worldwide.rnrnSimoncini also previously served as Lear’s vice president of finance for Europe, as well as vice president of finance for Lear’s Electrical and Electronics and DaimlerChrysler division. Prior to joining the company, he held financial and manufacturing positions with Kelsey-Hayes and Horizon Enterprises. Simoncini earned a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University and is a member of the board of directors for the Wayne State University Foundation, Detroit Economic Club, and Business Leaders for Michigan.
