Melinda Clemons

Melinda Clemons is a senior loan officer at Capital Impact Partners. In her role, she helped launch and served as a fund manager for the $30 million Woodward Corridor Investment Fund and $30 million Detroit Neighborhood Fund. She most recently conceived and assisted in the creation of a lending fund to increase access and capital to developers of color in Detroit. During her time at Capital Impact Partners, she has overseen the lending of $60 million to Detroit projects.rnrnPreviously, she spent five years as a commercial lender at Urban Partnership Bank where she was responsible for the bank’s commercial lending in the Detroit market. Clemons also spent six years at JPMorgan Chase, serving as an assistant vice president in the commercial real estate division.rnrnClemons earned a bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. She was named a “Woman of Excellence” by the Michigan Chronicle.
