Rachel Gray is the Executive Director for Hello West Michigan, directing the organization’s strategy, operations, and membership. She helps educate employers and prospective relocatees about the region.
As a leader in the state’s talent attraction space, she leads Back To Michigan, the award-winning coalition of regional talent attraction organizations attracting people to Michigan. In 2023, she served on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s Growing Michigan Together Council Infrastructure and Place Workgroup. In 2021, she served on the Business Leaders for Michigan task force for developing state-wide talent attraction recommendations. Prior to joining Hello West Michigan, Gray handled the marketing for Aquinas College Career and Counseling Services and worked at Celebration! Cinema as a marketing intern.
Gray was named one of Corp! Magazine’s Most Valuable Millennials in 2015, Grand Rapids Business Journal 40 Under 40 in 2018, and a finalist for the EPIC Emerging Leader of the Year in 2018. She is part of the Leadership Grand Rapids Class of 2025. Gray has spoken on Michigan’s pioneering talent attraction efforts at national conferences, including SXSW, RoleCall’s Talent Attraction Summit, and NextGen Talks.
Gray is an alumna of Aquinas College.
