Walter Robb is co-CEO of Whole Foods Market, overseeing six of the company’s regions in the United States. With a long and varied entrepreneurial history in natural foods ranging from retailer to consultant, Robb is the driving force behind the company’s outreach to new markets, notably its expansion into Detroit in 2013.rnrnRobb joined Whole Foods Market in 1991. An avid organic food advocate, Robb opened and operated the company’s Mill Valley, Calif., location until he became president of the Northern Pacific Region, growing it from two to 17 stores. Prior to his appointment as co-CEO and president of the Whole Planet Foundation Board of Directors, Robb served as the company’s executive vice president of operations and chief operating officer. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the Organic Center for Education and Promotion and chairman of the board for the Whole Kids Foundation.
