Canadian Consulate Honors Glenn Stevens Jr. With Maple Leaf Award

glenn shaking hands with consul generalOn March 20, Glenn Stevens Jr. was honored by the Canadian Consul General in Detroit, Colin Bird, with the first ever Maple Leaf Award, recognizing his year-long commitment to fostering economic and culture ties between Canada and Michigan.

“Together, we have been designing, engineering, and building vehicles for over 120 years. Michigan’s and Canada’s automotive industries are intertwined and are one and the same,” said Glenn Stevens Jr. “I am honored to receive this award on behalf of the MichAuto team and all the industry stakeholders we work with to promote, retain, and grow on both sides of our borders. Thank you, Consulate General of Canada, for Detroit Colin Bird and your team. This means a great deal, as does our partnership and friendship.”
