Ahead of the midterms, CBC’s David Common spoke with MichAuto Executive Director Glenn Stevens Jr. about how President Donald Trump’s trade policies have significantly affected Michigan and how they could shape Michigan voters’ choices.
Speaking to how tariffs have been a nightmare of unpredictability for Michigan’s signature industry, Stevens said, “This is a highly complex industry, global supply chain, thousands of parts come together to build an automobile, and it only takes one part to cause a disruption to that.”
