Innovate Michigan is a collaborative effort between the Detroit Regional Chamber and the University of Michigan (U-M) to foster innovation, technological advancement, and economic growth from Ann Arbor to Detroit and transform the Detroit Region into a national leader in technology and economic development.
Why Does it Matter?
Michigan has a rich history of innovation and an abundance of resources, including top-tier higher education institutions, an engaged business community, and a high quality of life.
However, the Detroit Region struggles to compete with national and global peers in attracting high-tech entrepreneurs and funding. To stay competitive, it is crucial to foster an environment that promotes continuous innovation.
