Mobility Meetups, hosted by MichAuto and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (MEDC-OFME), are designed to bring together dynamic startups in the automotive technology space with Michigan’s automotive and mobility industry stakeholders to connect, share, and collaborate.
The Office of Future Mobility and Electrification and MichAuto are partnering with Kinetyc for their Open House and Mobility Showcase on June 12 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will showcase their 100,000 sq. ft. facility and bring together industry leaders, OEMs, investors, and changemakers for an evening of big ideas, bold tech, and real connections.

Held at Kettering University’s GM Mobility Research Center, this event allowed attendees to discuss Michigan’s mobility ecosystem and the groundbreaking work being done at Kettering.

Held at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, and in partnership with Plante Moran, this event allowed attendees to discuss Michigan’s mobility ecosystem and how it’s evolving on the west side.
Attendees gathered at Urban Tech Xchange where they connected with fellow mobility professionals and enthusiasts for the first Mobility Meetup of 2025 to discuss Michigan’s mobility ecosystem.
Attendees enjoyed the rooftop at Bamboo Ann Arbor where they heard remarks from Chief Mobility Officer for the State of Michigan, Justine Johnson, and connected with others passionate about Michigan’s mobility industry ahead of Ann Arbor SPARK’s a2Tech360.
Attendees experienced the creativity of cutting-edge student design concepts, met colleagues in the mobility industry, and enjoyed the rich history of one of the world’s original homes for transportation design. This meetup was presented in partnership with Design Core Detroit and the College for Creative Studies.
Attendees gathered on the rooftop of Newlab at Michigan Central to hear from innovative startups Grounded and Livaq about how they are developing new technologies that will enhance the automotive and mobility ecosystem. This meetup was hosted in partnership with Newlab.
This meetup was hosted at Google Detroit and featured an illuminating panel with Google Cloud’s Kevin Karagitz and Zoran Lazovski about how Generative AI is revolutionizing the customer experience in the automotive industry. Attendees were also able to experience an interactive demonstration of a virtual vehicle expert that interprets complex manual language into user-friendly dialogue, providing clear and immediate answers to all your vehicular inquiries.
Hosted at the Renaissance Center and planned in partnership with GM, this meetup offered attendees networking opportunities with fellow mobility companies and partner organizations.
