Teijin Automotive Technologies Rebrands to CSP

July 7, 2025

Auburn Hills, Michigan – July 7, 2025 — Following the transition to a standalone business, Teijin Automotive Technologies is rebranding – back to the name by which it was originally called before being acquired by Teijin – and that’s CSP. But it’s a little different this time around. The company is introducing a new logo and dropping the “Continental Structural Plastics” moniker.

The new logo reflects a sleeker, more sophisticated design. With thin lines and a forward lean, the new logo reflects motion, mobility and progress. Its lighter feel represents the lightweight advanced composites for which the company is known. The tagline, “The Composites Solution Partner” accurately describes the company’s value proposition to its customers.

“This transition gave us an opportunity to revert to a brand that’s well known in the industry while at the same time providing it with a much-needed update,” said Kim Zitny, director, Corporate Communications. “We are excited to officially showcase our new brand in advertising, on social media, and at a number of upcoming industry events. And we will launch a new website later this year.”

The New Ownership and Structure

CSP is now a standalone, privately held business. Its focus remains on strong partnerships with industry leading OEMs and innovative solutions to support the transportation industries.

The European operations of Teijin Automotive Technologies will continue to operate as part of Teijin Limited and maintain the Teijin Automotive branding. The new CSP will maintain its operations in Carey, Conneaut, North Baltimore, and Van Wert, Ohio; Lenior and Salisbury, North Carolina; Sarepta, Louisiana; Grabill, and Huntington, Indiana; Seguin, Texas; Auburn Hills (2), and Manchester, Michigan; and Saltillo, and Tijuana, Mexico.
