The Trump Administration has been threatening tariffs on the import of Canadian goods. Glenn Stevens Jr., MichAuto Executive Director, sat in on ‘JR Morning to share the potential impact of these tariffs on Michigan’s economy, automotive industry, and relationship with Canada.
“What we’re watching to see is what happens with, ultimately, the North American supply chain. Do they consolidate to North America more? Do they unravel?,” Stevens Jr. said. “Michigan’s two largest trading partners are Mexico and Canada, so this really does impact us very significantly.”
