Dan Ammann is president of General Motors. He is responsible for managing the company’s business operations around the world, the global Chevrolet and Cadillac brands, global product planning, new business development and GM Financial.rnrnAmmann previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer, where he led a transformation of GM’s finance operations. He also led the strategy to rebuild the company’s captive finance capability through the establishment and growth of GM Financial. Ammann joined the company in 2010 as vice president of finance and treasurer and was appointed chairman of the board of Shanghai General Motors, GM’s largest Chinese joint venture, in 2014.rnrnHe is a member of the board of directors of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. and Lyft Inc.
