J.C. Watts Jr. is a former U.S. representative for Oklahoma’s fourth district and founder and chairman of J.C. Watts Companies. A college football star-turned politician, Watts served in Congress from 1994 to 2003. During that time, he was appointed to the House Armed Services Committee and authored legislation to create, and then serve on, the House Select Committee on Homeland Security.
