Marick F. Masters is a Business Professor at the Mike Ilitch School of Business (MISB) at Wayne State University. He has also served as Director of Labor@Wayne, which includes the Douglas A. Fraser Center for Workplace Issues, and as chair of the departments of Accounting and Finance at MISB.
He has published four books and numerous articles in academic and practitioner journals. Masters has served on various advisory boards of professional organizations and has been a columnist, commentator, and radio show co-host.
Masters is a Senior Partner with Albright Irr and Masters (AIM) and co-hosts a video podcast on The Business of Politics. He is writing a book on A New UAW, which analyzes how the union performed in the historic 2023 bargaining with the Big Three and the challenges it faces. He is also finishing a book on Richard Nixon’s political comeback after his defeat in 1962 titled The Phoenix: How Richard Nixon Rose from Political Ashes to Win the Presidency in 1968.
