Muna Jondy is an immigration attorney practicing in Flint, MI, and is a cooperating attorney with the ACLU of Michigan. Currently, she serves as co-chair of Election Protection for the Genesee County Democratic Party. She was appointed by Governor Whitmer to serve as chairwoman for the Michigan Women’s Commission. She also serves as an advisory board member for Americans for a Free Syria, a nonprofit that advocates for democracy, freedom and human rights for the Syrian people, and through that work she has been appointed as a member of the constitutional drafting committee for Syria at the United Nations. Her career and volunteering has always been focused on civil and human rights. Jondy obtained her B.A. from the University of Michigan, J.D. from the University of Manitoba (Canada), and her LLM from Michigan State University, College of Law.
