Patrick Colbeck is currently serving his second term as state senator for Michigan’s 7th district. Colbeck helped restore the Freedom of Assembly to rank and file workers and supported legislation to make Michigan the 24th Right to Work state in the nation. Additionally, he developed free market health care solutions that lower costs and improve services to patients.rnrnPrior to his election, Colbeck worked for Boeing as a senior design engineer. In this position, he was responsible for environmental control and life support system components for the International Space Station.rnrnColbeck earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan. He was awarded the “Legislator of the Year” by the Police Officers Association of Michigan, The Senior Alliance, and Associated Builders and Contractors.
