September Hargrove
September Hargrove is the vice president of global philanthropy for JPMorgan Chase & Co. As part of the cities strategy team, she helps manage the firm’s $150-million investment in Detroit to increase economic opportunity for underserved individuals and communities.
Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Hargrove served as director of the TILT Forward initiative for the Association for Enterprise Opportunity. She also served as a senior advisor for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration and was a 2015-2016 White House Fellow at the National Economic Council.
Hargrove earned a master’s degree in public policy and urban planning from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
