MICHauto, Omron, and Square One Education Network Host First In-person Discover Auto Tour Since 2020

On Wednesday, March 1, MICHauto and partner Square One Education Network hosted the first in-person Discover Auto Tour since 2020, welcoming students from Hartland High School to Omron’s Proof of Concept Center in Novi. 

Omron provided a hands-on tour of its facility for the students to learn more about the company’s technologies and see autonomous robots in action. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to chat with young professionals currently employed at Omron and discover more about their work-life balance, educational pathways, and why they choose to live, work, and play in Michigan.

“It was an absolute delight to provide students with the opportunity to visit a premier business in the automation industry,” said Anne Hasseld, Computer Science Teacher at Hartland High School. “We are so grateful to MICHauto and Square One for coordinating all the logistics. Students gained valuable insight into how technology is used to solve real problems in industry.”
