Glenn Stevens Jr., Executive Director of MichAuto, joined Michael Patrick Shiels on Michigan’s Big Show to discuss how the trade deal between U.S. and Canada fell apart and how it may impact trade in Michigan moving forward, if they aren’t able to reach common ground.
“The stakes are awfully high with regards to our two countries. We are huge trade partners, that is Michigan’s largest trade partner,” Stevens Jr. said. “…just in the automotive business, we’ve been doing business with Canada for 125 years and it’s 39% of our exports.”
